Summary Statement:

The Machine Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various equipment and must be familiar with set-up and startup procedures.  This position must support all business systems (such as QCDSM, ISO, GMP’s) while working in a team environment. 

2nd shift - 1pm to 9pm

Job Responsibilities:Must learn the safe and proper operation of the packaging filling equipmentPerform set-up, start-up and changeover procedures for the equipment as neededAssist in troubleshooting issues with line performance as it relates to equipment operationMaintain downtime records during line operationResponsible for conducting and documenting quality checksResponsible for clean-up of the equipment after smash-ups or misfeedResponsible for monitoring and communicating any process or product abnormalities to your Supervisor, Team Leader, or Line TechnicianPerform sanitation duties for the filler equipment and other production equipment as needed and period sanitation work as assignedProper handling and usage of chemicalsPerform analysis of cleaner strengths on soaps and sanitizers used in the sanitation processMaintain weight control system to meet Kraft Heinz Beaver Dam Policies and ProceduresRequired to load packaging materials into machines.Performing Good Sanitation Practices (GSP’s) when handling equipmentMust handle Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)Perform all required observations and training timely and as scheduledSupport Plant Quality SystemsOperators may be used on any line as neededPerform all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Team LeaderResponsible to follow FSQ requirements such as GMPs and other daily/job specific duties to support QRMPResponsible to follow all company established safety policies and procedures.
