Packaging Operator

Job Description

We are looking to add two individuals to our Warehouse team in Blair, NE. These individuals will spend 50% of their time operating a forklift to move 55lb bags of raw materials throughout the warehouse and loading them onto 20-40ft trailers. They will utilize pick sheets to determine what products to load and unload. Additionally, candidates will be responsible for packaging products, which involves running a packaging machine, stacking filled bags on pallets, wrapping the pallets, and transporting them to designated areas within the warehouse. Responsibilities:Operate a forklift to move 55lb bags of raw materials.Load and unload products based on pick sheets.Run a packaging machine and stack filled bags on pallets.Wrap pallets and transport them to designated areas in the warehouse.Ensure legible completion of pick sheets.Adhere to basic warehouse safety protocols.Essential Skills:6 months of forklift operating experience within the last year.Ability to lift up to 75lbs.Legible handwriting.Understanding of basic warehouse safety.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Work history that shows tenure at previous companies.Experience with inventory management is a plus.Trainable in staging products and efficiently loading trailers.Why Work Here?
