**Job Title: Packaging Operator** **Job Description** As a Packaging Operator, you will be operating the packaging machine, performing quality checks, and documenting production activities. The role requires working within warm to hot temperatures and periodically lifting up to 50 lbs. You will own the entire production line assigned to you. Initial training will be provided by a tenured machine operator, including shadowing and hands-on practice. You will also be trained on pallet jacks and operating machinery. **Responsibilities** + Perform quality checks on boxes and packaging + Operate packaging machines efficiently + Keep designated work area clean and adhere to GMP standards + Adjust boxes of various types and sizes for packaging + Document productivity, completion, and orders **Essential Skills** + At least one year of machine operating experience + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs + Basic troubleshooting skills + Familiarity with GMPs and HACCP standards **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in a manufacturing facility preferred + Production experience to keep up with fast-paced production + Experience operating warehouse machines such as case packers, wrapping machines, and sealing machines + Skills in quality assurance and documentation **Why Work Here?** The company prides itself on a family-like environment with lots of engagement activities. Expect louder than average noise levels due to machinery. Steel-toe shoes above the ankle are required. The schedule includes rotating days off, with two consecutive days off each week, and candidates should be open to working all days of the week. The facility operates 24/7, and candidates may work 5-10 hours of overtime per week. Available shifts include: 1st shift (5:30AM-2:00PM), 2nd shift (1:30PM-10:00PM), and 3rd shift (9:30PM-6:00AM). **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of American Canyon, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
