Our client, a leader in global medical manufacturing is seeking a Packaging Operator to join their team. As a Packaging Operator, you will be part of the manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of related experience, able to follow manufacturing proccesses and be detail oriented which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title: Packagin Operator** **Location: Sparks, MD** **Pay Range: $18.34 per hour - Friday/Sunday** **What’s the Job?** + Responsible for the labeling, inspecting and packaging of final container products with manual and/or automated packaging systems. + Operates equipment that packages materials or products by inserting them into containers or filling containers from spouts or chutes. + May perform other packaging tasks including placing labels on packages, operating small production equipment, putting manuals into binders, counting and sorting various items, and forming or breaking down boxes for final product. + Responsible for packaging materials in accordance with standard manufacturing procedures (SMP) and standard operating procedures (SOP) including equipment set-up, equipment clean-up and documentation of such process. + Responsible for data entry and imprinting computer generated labels. **What’s Needed?** + High School Diploma or GED, and/or Trade School Certification. + Experience in a regulated environment preferred. + Must follow all safety policies and procedures. + Must be able to effectively manage frequent assignment changes Proficient/Working Skills. + Must be proficient in English with the ability to read, write, analyze/evaluate charts, follow simple diagrams and perform basic arithmetic. **What’s in it for me?** + Temp to Perm Opportunity. + Paid Training. + Weekly pay with direct deposit. + Full time hours. + Career advancement.
