Principal Accountabilities:

Responsible to operate packaging equipment and all other associated production equipment to produce quality product in a safe and efficient manner including box case erector, product filler, case sealer, case labeler, chilling equipment and palletizer.  Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform minor maintenance on this equipment.  Assist maintenance with PM’s and/or repairs as needed.Perform line changeovers and quality checks as required. Read and interpret the production schedule. Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations(including food safety policies and procedures)Maintaining a safe and clean work environmentOther duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employerCargill requires employees to be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facilityAbility to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodationAbility to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)Basic computer skillsAbility to learn production, maintenance and inventory management systems.Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance noticePrior experience working in a production or plant environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with SAP or a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)Experience with production Human Machine Interface systems (HMI) Inventory systems knowledgeHigh school diploma or equivalentExperience operating forklifts and/or similar equipmentWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office software, with emphasis on Excel and Word
