As a Packaging Operator, you will be part of the operations team supporting the production of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Packaging Operator **Location:** Sparks Glencoe, MD **Pay Range:** $19.00 **What's the Job?** + Responsible for moving required materials from defined storage or staging areas to workspace using material handling equipment. + Packaging of final product into end-user containers per approved Standard Manufacturing Procedures (SMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). + Demonstrates the ability to set-up, operate, and clean production equipment including weighing scales and filling equipment. + Maintains accurate production records, including operation/cleaning logs and batch history records. + Ensures final product is within weight tolerance and follows all safety policies and procedures. **What's Needed?** + High school graduate or equivalent. + Minimum of three years of experience in a manufacturing, packaging, and/or warehouse environment. + Ability to perform heavy lifting/handling during a 10-hour shift. + Must be capable of passing the physical examination for forklift operations and respirator fit test. + Experience with machine operation is preferred. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. + Gain valuable experience in the manufacturing and packaging industry. + Be part of a team that values safety and quality. + Potential for career advancement within the organization. + Engage in a role that contributes to the production of essential products.
