Packaging Print Production Designer, Device Packaging Experience

Amazon.com is looking for a talented design/production hybrid: a PRINT PRODUCTION DESIGNER to join our packaging design team. The ideal candidate will have the creative ability to extend and adapt our design system, and deliver clean, print-ready artwork in a fast-paced environment. This position requires strong organizational skills, print expertise, design ability, typesetting skills, and acute attention to detail. The ability to undertake multiple projects and communicate with key stakeholders is essential. An online portfolio demonstrating printed design and production work is REQUIRED.

• Designing and producing packaging artwork
• Extending and adapting artwork to new SKU’s
• Creating and editing presentation decks
• Assisting with soft-proof/hard-proof reviews
• Coordinating with external creative vendors
• Optimizing digital images and assets for print
• Helping build and update packaging style guides
• Completing multiple tasks under tight deadlines
• Supporting design and production with flexibility
