**Job Title: Packaging Technician** **Job Description** We are looking for a dedicated Packaging Technician to join our team. This role involves the packaging, labeling, and palletizing of products following prescribed procedures. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a clean and safe workspace. **Responsibilities** + Label products following prescribed procedures. + Inspect products visually for deficiencies before shipment. + Pack cartons by folding them, following prescribed arrangement, and placing products in cartons. + Finish cartons by sealing openings and affixing product labels to cartons. + Place finished cartons on pallets following prescribed stacking arrangements. + Package kits as required. + Actively support safety and comply with safety policies and procedures. + Maintain 5S principles. + Follow verbal and written work instructions. + Adhere to quality standards with attention to detail. + Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and policies. + Lift up to 50 lbs. + Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. **Essential Skills** + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. + Capability to work in a fast-paced environment. + Team-oriented and quality-focused. + Ability to read a tape measure in millimeters. + Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division). + Good communication skills, both verbal and written. + Positive attitude demonstrated through work reviews and attendance records. + Willingness to rotate to other areas as business needs dictate. + Reliable transportation. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 6+ months of packaging experience. + Computer literate. + Detail-oriented. + Basic math and computer skills. **Why Work Here?** We offer long-term growth opportunities in a family-oriented work environment. **Work Environment** This role is based in a manufacturing environment in Poway. The facility adheres to safety and cleanliness standards. Employees are expected to perform constant standing and repeated hand, arm, and upper body movements, including pushing, pulling, reaching, lifting, bending, and stooping.
