Job Type: Full Time
Shift(s) Available: 12-hour day shift, from 4:00 am to 4:00 pm
Compensation: $22.10/hr.

A typical Work Day May Include:

Operation of packaging equipment and forkliftInput production-related data in computer systems such as SAPCreate and apply product labels in accordance with regulatory and quality standardsCollect finished product samples and perform quality testingMonitor Bag Weights on scaleMinor maintenance and troubleshooting of equipmentRepalletizing/disposal of distressed productPerforming required production tasks to prepare equipment for the packaging of different products and packaging typesUnloading and loading trucks/trailers and our warehouse racking system of materials, supplies, and finished productUnderstanding and adhering to all safety trainings, food safety, sanitation, housekeeping, hygiene, and environmental policies and proceduresOther duties as assigned

What You Will Need:

Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa, or a visa sponsored by a third-party employerCargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facilityAbility to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodationAbility to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)Must be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respiratorBasic computer skillsAbility to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance noticeMust be able to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment

What Will Put You Ahead:

Prior experience in production-related workHigh school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experienceExperience operating forklifts and/or similar equipmentBasic experience troubleshooting various mechanical components and systems
