Packaging Technician
Job Title: Forklift Technician
Job Description

Prepare outbound shipments by palletizing materials and using a forklift to transport them outside the facility to load onto trucks. Document activities using a computer system. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs is required.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare customer orders as part of our packaging team.Fill and seal 50# bags, bulk sacks, and drums.Apply labeling to orders.Shrink wrap orders.Move products around the packing floor and to the warehouse using a forklift.Sweeping and cleaning of the production floor area.Fill out packaging log sheets and paperwork.Participate in all Health, Safety, and Environmental activities, including monthly plant audits, accident investigations, and Hazard IDs.Essential Skills1 year of forklift experience.Computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Access.Ability to safely operate plant forklifts in support of production activities.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in packaging, production, general labor, packing, labeling, and working in a cleanroom environment.Experience in warehouse and general production, including picking and working on a packaging line.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.99 - $19.99
