Job Description
As a Packer, you will accurately pack goods into proper cartons; set up and operate labeling machine; and place labels on cartons.
Responsibilities:
· Read and interpret production schedules in order to accurately pack Finished Goods and to assure correct carton and labels are being used.· Erect and place labels on cartons· Place correct number of pouches or cups into each carton· Set-up, operate, and maintain Taper and Code Dater· Stack cartons on pallets in correct tier configuration and layer count
Qualifications and Requirements:
· Basic math skills· Ability to follow schedules and procedures· Ability to read and follow written and verbal work instructions· Must be able to repeatedly lift 35 pounds· Previous packaging experience is a plus· Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen & background check
