GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

This position is responsible for inspecting, reworking, and packing bags/trays of product to achieve daily production standards.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION:

Remove bags or trays of salad from conveyor and place into boxes Check for foreign objects, accurate bag codes, and expiration dates Separate and hold metal detector rejects Rework product as required Move from one assigned area to another throughout the day as assigned Must be able to meet each area standards such as number of bags/trays packed in a determined time Any and all other duties assigned by your Supervisor. This may include stacking boxes of salad on skids, printing and applying labels, forming boxes, and maintaining good housekeeping
