Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented packer for our 2nd shift, from 2pm to 10:30pm. The role involves handling and packaging liquids and powders, requiring precision and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

ResponsibilitiesUse computer systems and handle related documentationFill liquids and powders into tanksUse scales to get accurate measurements of liquidsWeigh out raw materials accurately according to the formulaSelect the appropriate tank based on manufacturing requirements and batch sizePick the required raw materials from the warehouse according to the formulaScan raw materials using a barcode scanner to ensure lot number and quantity accuracyStage the raw materials and add them to the tank according to work order instructionsFill and pack orders according to sales orders, ensuring accurate weight and using the specified sifter screen and labelsFollow GMP safety guidelines and proceduresBe open to cross-training and assisting in different departmentsEssential SkillsExperience in warehouse, loading, packing, cleanroom, and general laborAttention to detail for labeling and packing logsComfortable wearing a respiratorKnowledge of GMP, food manufacturing, compounding, material handling, and chemical handlingAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a cleanroom and food manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with GMP standardsWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

This role operates in a GMP food environment, requiring adherence to strict safety and cleanliness standards. Employees must be comfortable working around chemicals and food-grade materials, wearing a respirator, and following GMP guidelines. The work involves the use of scales, pumps, valves, air mixers, forklifts, and pallet jacks.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00
