Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing and Packaging Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will follow written work instructions, maintain a safe work environment, and properly use required PPE. This role involves operating scales and manual dispensing equipment, accurately completing record documentation, performing inspection, labeling, and final packaging of manufactured products, and cleaning equipment. The work is conducted in an FDA-regulated clean room environment, requiring gloves, hair nets, eye protection, and lab coats.
ResponsibilitiesFollow written work instructions and maintain a safe work environment.Properly use required PPE including uniform, safety shoes, and safety glasses.Operate scales and manual dispensing equipment.Accurately complete record documentation, logbook entries, and GMP documentation.Perform inspection, labeling, and final packaging of manufactured products.Clean stills and other equipment.Conduct small or light assembly work.Assemble boxes and operate a filling machine.Place bottles on the line, ensure they are filled, sealed, and packed into boxes.Stack filled boxes on pallets.Package and seal bottles of cleaning solutions, and transport them to a refrigerated area.Work with 1-liter bottles and jars, loading and transporting them as required.Essential SkillsExperience in packaging and packing.Machine operating skills.Manufacturing experience.Palletizing skills.Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.Experience in a production or general labor environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to stand at the work station for extended periods.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Our facility in Richmond is clean, well-lit, and temperature-controlled. We are currently hiring for various positions, including Fillers on the 1st shift in Formulations and Blenders. The typical hours are 6am - 2:30pm, with overtime from 6am - 3:30pm and occasional half-day Saturdays in November and December. PPE such as lab coats, hair nets, safety glasses, and occasionally respirators are required. The work involves handling light materials and working in a clean, temperature-controlled environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00
