**Job Title: Packer** **Job Description** Responsible for all aspects of the warehouse operation, including receiving, stocking, inventory control, mailing, processing return items, cleaning equipment, warehouse housekeeping, and transferring supplies. Must be able to take ownership of jobs and complete them without continual instruction. Maintain HIPAA/patient confidentiality. Employee has an individual responsibility for knowledge of and compliance with laws, regulations, and policies. Compliance is a condition of employment and is considered an element of job performance. Required to stand for long periods of time, be mechanically inclined, computer literate, and able to switch between different jobs daily. **Responsibilities** + Pack products weighing 5-10 lbs into boxes repetitively for the entire shift. + Switch work areas daily depending on the orders due to ship out. + Lift at least 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time. + Perform bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the day. + Achieve a metric of packaging about 300 packages per shift. + Utilize RF scanners, pallet jacks, and forklifts for material handling. + Label and stack products, and pick orders as needed. **Essential Skills** + Packing + Production + Warehouse packing + Order picking + Material handling + RF scanner + Forklift operation + Computer literacy + Mechanical inclination + Ability to lift at least 50 pounds + Standing for long periods **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with RF scan guns + Experience with loading and unloading + Experience with picking and packing orders **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a $1 pay increase upon conversion to a full-time employee. The bonus is based on company performance and tenure, with last year's bonus totaling about $2,500 per employee. **Work Environment** The work environment is a clean warehouse with no extreme temperatures. The start time is 6:50am-4pm, but candidates can start as early as 6:30am or 7am when in the new facility, allowing them to leave at 3:30pm. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arden, North Carolina. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.35 - $18.35 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
