**Job Title: Packer** **Job Description** The Packer is responsible for working in an area producing products that are packed into trays and cartons for shipping. This role includes preparing cartons and carton displays, manually packing and palletizing products, and completing final quality inspections of finished goods. The hours for this position are 7pm-7am or 7am-7pm on a 4x4 schedule. **Responsibilities** + Prepare cartons and carton displays for packaging. + Manually pack and palletize products. + Perform final quality inspections of finished goods. + Ensure all packed products meet quality standards. **Essential Skills** + Ability to stand for 12 hours. + Prior manufacturing experience. + Experience working in food production is a plus. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma or GED and/or 1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment required. **Why Work Here?** We cultivate and embrace a diverse employee population. Some areas of the plant may be hot if working near ovens, though packers typically will not be in those areas. The work environment requires wearing non-slip safety-toed shoes, hair nets, and safety glasses. Employees are regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. Occasionally, employees may be exposed to high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, and caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.60 - $19.60 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
