Job Title: Packer/Forklift Operator
Job Description

Candidates will be responsible for building skids for boxes and shipping orders. They will utilize cross saws, miter saws, a nail gun, staple gun, and banding equipment. Additionally, they will conduct quality inspections, stencil, and enter all shipping information. Candidates must maintain records of maintenance on equipment, keep their work areas clean, and follow safety procedures. They will also operate a forklift to move metal.

ResponsibilitiesBuild skids for boxes and shipping orders.Use cross saws, miter saws, a nail gun, staple gun, and banding equipment.Perform quality inspections.Stencil and enter all shipping information.Keep records of maintenance on equipment.Maintain cleanliness in work areas and follow safety procedures.Operate a forklift to move metal.Essential SkillsAbility to read a tape measure down to 1/8 of an inch or willingness to learn.At least 6 months of packing/packaging experience.Prior experience in manufacturing/distribution/warehouse settings.At least 6 months of prior forklift operation experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong skills in pulling, picking, sawing, inspecting, and material handling.Competency in computer operation and record-keeping.Why Work Here?

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Charles, Missouri.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.25
