PACS Administrator
**PACS Administrator** Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking applicants to join our pool of available professionals with experience as PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) Administrators. We are sourcing candidates who have been responsible for managing and optimizing medical imaging systems within radiology departments. **Location:** New York, NY **Key Responsibilities** **System Management** + Oversee daily operations of the PACS and related imaging systems + Perform regular system maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting + Ensure high system availability and performance **Workflow Optimization** + Collaborate with radiologists and technologists to streamline imaging workflows + Implement and manage hanging protocols and worklist configurations + Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for PACS usage **Data Integrity and Security** + Manage image quality control processes + Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and security protocols + Coordinate data migration and archiving projects **User Support and Training** + Provide technical support to end-users, including radiologists and clinical staff + Develop and conduct training sessions for new and existing users + Create user guides and documentation for PACS-related processes **Qualifications** **Education and Experience** + Bachelor's degree in Healthcare IT, Computer Science, or related field + Minimum of 3 years’ experience in PACS administration + Certified PACS Administrator (CPAS) certification preferred **Technical Skills** + Proficiency in DICOM and HL7 standards + Experience with major PACS vendors and related healthcare IT systems + Knowledge of medical imaging modalities (CT, MRI, X-ray, etc.) + Familiarity with RIS and EMR systems **Soft Skills** + Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills + Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment + Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends **Pay Details:** $106,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
