Summary

The PACU Technician assists patients, physicians, nurses, and support services to provide total care to the patient before and after surgical intervention. Assist in the maintenance of a safe, clean environment of the assigned areas. Assists the health care team members by physically providing direct patient care. Physically transports patients via stretcher or wheel chair. Performs competently those technical skills considered basic to the type of care given on the unit. Able to physically intervene in emergency situations including CPR.
