Position Details:

is the responsibility of physician to assess individuals, conduct evaluations, medication management services, clinical consultation/supervision and clinical client reviews. The purpose of the onsite physician at PAD location is to provide medically oriented feedback to various stakeholders to insure that individuals receive adequate care while at 265 E Lehigh Ave. Recommendations should be made to PPD partners based on available medical criteria.

 

Leadership/Administration:

 

Performing a medical history and physical exam Determining diagnosis and determining narcotic dependence Reviewing treatment plans Make recommendations regarding level of care received and coordinate care with staff on site Discussing cases with treatment team/stakeholders. Issuing verbal orders pertaining to client care. Assessing coexisting medical and psychiatric disorders Treating or making appropriate referrals for treatment of these disorders.

 Patient Care:

 

Review patient eligibility for services. Review the patient's clinical information before the recertification period for each patient which includes a face-to-face visit by the medical director Work with other PAD-related agencies making medical recommendations on care that individuals receive. Coordinate care with both internal and external care providers and provide medical recommendations to partner agencies as appropriate.
