Job Description

The Paid Search Supervisor is a leadership position within the Search department responsible for leading strategy and overseeing a team of two to seven search professionals. This individual acts as the strategic and operational point of contact and makes sure the team delivers flawlessly. This person also plays a key role in the professional development of the staff and continuously evolves processes.

Core Craft SkillsCollaborates with the internal team on holistic media planning and measurement.Demonstrates a “big picture” understanding of clients’ marketing strategy.Consults on forecasting models.Is responsible for delivering ongoing timely thought capital.Client ExposureActively contributes to new business efforts by acting as a subject matter expert when neededBusiness DevelopmentContributes to new business efforts as needed.Team LeadershipOversees a team of 2-5 search professionals on a large client team.Manages teams of SEM Coordinators, SEM Strategists and Sr. SEM Strategist including ongoing feedback on career developmentParticipates in internal management training to develop leadership competency.Agency LeadershipDevelops thought capital and POV related to client work and the Search landscape in generalOwns a Search discipline development initiative (e.g. marketing, publisher relations committee, analytics, training program).Facilitates internal training programs on the paid search landscape and fosters best practice across clients

Qualifications

MilestonesHas amassed the experience necessary to service any type of account.Has coordinated internal training efforts and developed new processes.Has cultivated internal relationships.Has fostered strong partner relationships while also embracing new opportunities.Has contributed to thought capital and knowledge sharing.Has established a track record of successfully leading teams tactically with input into overall strategy.Has emerged as trusted advisor to client team.Has developed the ability to take complex ideas and elevate them to a senior audience.Has partnered with Client Engagement leads to pursue business advancement opportunities.Has successfully developed and mentored junior staff.Has developed a strong grasp of all Razorfish service offerings.Experience5 years of search experience required.Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or mentorship role.Proficiency in relevant SEM tools and platforms. Proficiency in MS Office with advanced Excel skills.Knowledge of search campaign management tools a plusFamiliarity with Google Pmax/YouTube/App campaigns and Microsoft Dynamic campaignsEducationBA/BS degree in a related field required or equivalent experience.

Compensation Range: $70,000 - $110,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
