**Position Purpose:**
At **Mercy Medical Center** , the Pain Management Registered Nurse will be an interactive part of the team using therapeutic methods to give patients relief. **What you will do:**
+ The Registered Nurse RN assumes responsibility for providing patient care to an assigned group of patients, overseeing and coordinating all nursing care in alignment with established standards of practice.
+ Collaborates seamlessly with colleagues, physicians, members of the healthcare team, and patients and their families to guarantee the delivery of safe, effective, and efficient care **.**
**Minimum Qualifications** :
+ **Education** : Completion of an accredited Nursing Program with an Associate’s degree in Nursing is mandatory. A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
+ **Registered Nurse RN Licensure:** Must hold a valid and current Massachusetts registered nurse licensure.
+ **Experience:** A minimum of 1 year of Pain Management nursing experience is required.
+ **BLS or CPR certification:** Current certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required
+ **ANCC certification:** This is preferred but not required.
