An affiliated private practice is seeking a sharp, enthusiastic, professional Neurologist to become part of the energy and join our multi-specialty neurology group where you will engage in our efforts to improve patient satisfaction, clinical outcomes, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

The Department of Pain Management at Mount Sinai Medical Center is seeking a board certified/board eligible Medication Pain Management Physician to join our distinguished team to provide direct clinical care to our patients.

The physician will primarily be evaluating and treating outpatients in the setting of a Comprehensive NeuroScience center of excellence.

The physician will complement a team of Neurologists, Neurosurgeons, Interventional Neuroradiologists and Physiatrists by providing longitudinal care and management of neuropharmacologic and psychodynamic aspects of acute, subacute, and chronic pain syndromes. Some care will be rendered in an inpatient setting should clinical circumstances warrant.

The physician will not be responsible for performance of invasive pain management procedures. The physician will be given an opportunity to participate in design and implementation of the Comprehensive NeuroScience Center.

Requirements:

Have completed fellowship training in a pain management related specialty such as anesthesia, neurology, psychiatry, physiatry or addiction medicine.

Must be trained and comfortable with diagnosing and rendering care of neuropharmacologic and psychodynamic aspects of acute, subacute, and chronic pain syndromes.

BE/BC with excellent clinical training in anesthesia, neurology, psychiatry or addiction medicine.

Adaptable colleague interested in joining our NeuroScience team, building the group practice and becoming active in our community.
