Paint Line Technician 3rd shift

This individual will be responsible running the paint line on 3rd shift. Must be able to learn the four directional lift as well as sit/stand lifts. This position requires that you receive painter certification, pass a respirator test and pass a color blind test.

This job involves physically painting, mixing, and processing work through the Paint Line as well as running CNC machinary as required.

• Forklift experience desired
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Dependable and a self starter
• Insure PPE compliance according to OSHA standards and practices
• Responsible for maintaining integrity of proper waste steams
• Monitors safety grounds and filter systems for the Paint Line
• Comply to EPA regulations
• Follow Quality Operating System requirements
• Record key measurements for quality assurance
• Provide a painted product that complies with quality paint guidelines
• Looks for opportunities for continual improvement
• Optimize production to insure efficient use of materials and time

Also want to make sure you have

• Basic computer skills
• Previous CNC experience a plus.
• Strong basic math skills, ability to add and subtract fractions, and convert fractions to decimal equivalents.
• Must be able to read tape measures, micrometers, and calipers.
• Must have a basic mechanical ability
