Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Department for the Paint Process Team in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing paint departments, specifically within the context of automotive manufacturing and electric vehicles (EV). This role involves overseeing two engineering managers and reporting directly to the VP of the department.
ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the Paint Process Team.Oversee the work of two engineering managers.Ensure the efficiency and quality of the paint process within the automotive manufacturing environment.Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes.Implement and maintain OEM standards and practices.Report to the VP of the department and provide regular updates on team performance.Essential SkillsMinimum of 8 years of management experience.At least 10 years of experience in paint departments.Expertise in painting processes and engineering within the automotive industry.OEM experience.Strong leadership and team management skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a production environment.Experience in automotive manufacturing.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $170000.00 - $200000.00/yr.
RELOCATION: $17,500+ and 100% coverage of shipment costs up to 15,000LBS.
