Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Paint Preparation and Painting Specialist responsible for the preparation of paint products daily, ensuring metal is properly taped and prepared for final paint coats. The role involves painting parts using both powder and liquid paint, working in the paint booth, and assisting painters by performing some of the painting tasks.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare paint products daily.Ensure metal is properly taped and prepared for final paint coats.Paint parts using powder and liquid paint.Work in the paint booth and assist painters by performing some painting tasks.Load and unload parts to be painted in the paint booth.Lift parts up to 70 lbs and hang them on paint hooks.Perform visual inspection of parts before and after painting.Clean parts before and after paint booth processes.Utilize hand and power tools, run equipment such as drills and screw guns, read prints, and perform large assemblies if other tasks are completed.Perform some prepping tasks in the paint area as needed.Essential SkillsAt least 6 months of experience in liquid painting in a paint booth or similar environment.Willingness to learn and mechanical aptitude.Work Environment
The work environment is a very nice, newer building that is quiet and clean.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
