**Job Title: Paint Prep Laborer**
**Job Description**
As a Paint Prep Laborer, you will be responsible for assembling and disassembling vehicles for painting. This includes prepping, sanding, and scuffing vehicles, performing daily preventative maintenance on painting equipment, and operating the spray gun for bed liners. You will follow work orders throughout the day to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble and disassemble vehicles for painting.
+ Prep, sand, and scuff vehicles.
+ Perform daily preventative maintenance on painting equipment.
+ Operate the spray gun for bed liners.
+ Follow work orders throughout the day.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with paint prep, painting, mechanical assembly, and spray guns.
+ Ability to use sprayers and paint sprayers effectively.
+ 1 year of prior paint prep experience.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with mechanical and fabrication work.
+ Ability to weld and install components on trucks.
+ Strong teamwork and communication skills.

**Work Environment**
The work environment consists of a large job shop with multiple buildings and garages, similar to a truck dealership. The role involves painting, fabricating, installing, welding, and working together in a fast-paced team environment. There is a showroom in the front lobby, and employees will have contact and interaction with customers. Some duties will be performed outside to test equipment. The company supplies uniforms, and the facilities include paint booths, a sandblasting station, and a mechanical/fabrication station with large municipal trucks, dump trucks, and semi-trucks.
