**Job Title: Paint Prep/ Packer** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Paint Prep/ Packer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation and packaging of pump components and assemblies. Your tasks will include masking and preparing components for abrasive blasting and painting, as well as packaging the final product. You will also assist in the paint booth as necessary. While forklift experience is preferred, it is not required. **Responsibilities** + Prepare and package pump components and assemblies. + Mask and prepare components for abrasive blasting and painting. + Assist in the paint booth as necessary. + Build and assemble skids and crates. + Use hand and power tools for various tasks. + Ensure all products are prepped for paint. **Essential Skills** + At least 2 years of industrial manufacturing experience. + Experience in prepping products/equipment for painting, including masking, sanding, and grinding. + Proficiency with hand tools, forklifts, and measuring tape. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Forklift experience is preferred but not necessary. + Ability to work 10-12 hours per day. + 2nd Shift - Monday -Friday 3pm-11pm; OT as required **Why Work Here?** Join a large manufacturing company with over 8 years of industry experience in servicing the oil & gas, water, and chemical processing industries. Steel toe boots are required, and you will be expected to work on your feet for the duration of your shift. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Chesapeake, Virginia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
