**Hiring for Paint Prep/Sandblaster, in Anoka, MN** **Pay $20-22/hr, 1st &2nd shift Available** **Job Description** We are looking for an entry-level paint prepper/sandblaster. This individual will assist in the paint department with sanding, power washing trailers, grinding, using masking tape, and occasionally buffing - everything that needs to be done prior to the full-blown painting on the trailers. The goal is to train the paint prepper/sandblaster into painting down the road. Initially, this person will start with painting smaller parts, and additional responsibilities will be added over time. **Responsibilities** + Assist in the paint department with sanding, power washing trailers, grinding, and using masking tape + Occasionally perform buffing tasks + Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, grinding, and masking + Power wash trailers to ensure clean surfaces + Learn and gradually take on painting tasks, starting with smaller parts **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Mechanical inclination + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment + Strong learning and listening skills + Preferred: industrial spray painting experience + Preferred: experience in paint prep, masking, grinding, sanding, and buffing **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
