**Job Title: Paint Prep Technician** **Job Description** The essence of the Paint Prep Technician’s role is to prepare all pieces and products for paint while maintaining a high-quality standard. Responsibilities include assisting the Lead Painter in preparing products for paint, performing light bodywork, sanding, blocking, filing, and priming. The technician will place products for painting on movable platforms, move and stage painted products in the drying room, oversee paint and prep material inventory, keep the work area clean and organized, and communicate ideas and issues in a timely manner to ensure high quality standards. **Hard Skills** + Paint Prep + Masking + Taping + Metal Sanding **Soft Skills** + Communication + Organization **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 5 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Dallas, Texas. **Work Environment** Manufacturing environment in the metal industry.
