**Job Title: Paint Prep/Yard Worker** **Are you looking for your next career opportunity?** Aerotek is currently recruiting for General Production Worker for a local company in Billings. Aerotek is a leading staffing agency connecting talented professionals with top companies in Manufacturing and Construction industries in Billings, MT. **Job Description** Operate a variety of different sit-down forklifts through the yard. Receive new steel for welders and prepare it for the welding department. Set up pallets in the yard for the intake area. Take finished products and palletize them for outgoing shipments in the yard. Assist in inventory counts. Candidates will need to lift up to 70 lbs as they will be moving some steel and wood by hand. Lay out all finished products in the paint area by hand, forklift, or hoist. Prepare steel for paint by scrubbing it with steel brushes, applying adhesive paint by hand, and taping/masking specific areas. Apply a primer layer of paint to all steel pieces. Upon completion of all duties, help out in any areas that need assistance. **Hard Skills** + Forklift operation + Paint preparation + General warehouse duties **Soft Skills** + Attention to detail + Physical stamina + Teamwork **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Billings, Montana. **Work Environment** You will be in the production area when in the paint area; however, the bay doors will be opening and closing to the outside frequently. The majority of the time, you will be working outside, so you need to dress according to the elements.
