Apply now & you can expect a callback with 24 hours. **Job Description** We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Paint Prepper to join our team. **The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing vehicles for painting and possess strong organizational skills** . This role involves inspecting equipment, operating machinery, and ensuring all work is conducted safely and efficiently. **Responsibilities** + Follow all safe work practices. + Organize, plan, and prioritize work. + Inspect equipment, structures, or material. + Operate mechanized devices, or equipment. + Clean equipment or machinery. + Apply cleaning solvents, adhesives, caulking, sealants, or coatings. + Mask vehicle body in preparation for painting. **Essential Skills** + General labor, entry-level experience. + Experience with sanders and grinders. + Production, power tool, painting, paint prep skills. + Experience with HVLP spray, grinders, sanders, spray guns. + Knowledge of industrial painting and automotive manufacturing. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to work independently. + Ability to work with power tools, pneumatic wrenches, grinders. + Working knowledge of welding process is helpful. + Heavy-duty truck aptitude. + Strong organization, communication, and phone skills. + Demonstrate exceptional sales, customer service, and time management skills. + Ability to be extremely well-organized, resourceful, and self-motivated. + Ability to problem solve and make appropriate business decisions with little guidance. **Work Environment** Mechanic/machine shop environment. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times without assistance. The role involves bending, twisting, lifting, kneeling, crouching, stooping/crawling, standing, and walking a minimum of 50% of the time. Ability to work in cramped spaces or awkward positions for short periods of time is required. Some job duties will be performed outside in various weather conditions. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
