This role is perfect for those eager to develop their expertise and become a skilled manufacturing painter. **Responsibilities** + Masking & Taping: Apply tape and protective paper to product parts that should be exempt from paint. + De-masking: Remove tape from painted parts. + Plugging: Place plugs in holes of metal parts to prevent paint from entering. + Sanding: Sand metal parts to remove imperfections. + Painting Techniques: Learn powder and/or liquid painting techniques under supervision. + Quality Inspections: Perform quality inspections of products being prepared. + Inventory Management: Keep inventory of various masking products (tape, protective paper, etc.). **Essential Skills** + High school diploma or GED + Ability to read specific directions related to the product mix + Manual dexterity + Troubleshooting skills + Ability to work as part of a team + Adaptability to various situations + Communication and organizational skills + Self-motivated and able to work independently + Enthusiasm and desire to attain manufacturing painter skills **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in paint prep or industrial painting + Knowledge of spray gun and sprayer usage + Experience with paint booth operations + Familiarity with sandblasting and powder coating **Why Work Here?** Join a rapidly growing company with endless room for advancement!
