In this role, you will be involved in the painting process of metal parts by operating industrial machine tools, equipment, or systems in the Paint Shop Department.
Key Responsibilities:
Work from process sheets, blueprints, or other written/verbal instructions the supervisor gives to perform production tasks. Maneuver parts onto pallets manually or with a hoist. Paint stock and custom parts with water-based black paint. Check stenciling on parts against blueprints to ensure quality. Check parts for any defects prior to the finishing process. Patch and grind parts when needed to meet finishing specs. Work safely and wear all required PPE for the duration of the shift. Move parts to the final inspection area when done Work in other areas or departments as assigned. Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 7AM-3PM.What are we looking for?

Key Competencies:
Have prior experience with the setup and operation of paint sprayers Average math skills, simple oral communication skills; ability to read and comprehend instructions written in English and complete simple logs and reports in English Detail-oriented and able to adapt to changing production demands Physically able to handle heavy items up to 35 lbs. including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning components Work scheduled hours and comply with the company's timekeeping policy and all other company policies Consistently stand for the entire 8-hour shift Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment Knowledge of basic machining practices and materials is a plus, as is general mechanical knowledge Ability to work with others and be a team player Accuracy ReliabilityTo perform this job successfully, you must be able to report daily to the company’s Arlington, TX branch to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
