**Job Title: Painter** **Job Description** As a Residential Painter, your role is crucial in both enhancing the visual appeal of residential properties and ensuring a fresh, clean environment for new occupants. **Hard Skills** + Communicate with clients to determine their painting requirements and help them make informed decisions. + Prepare surfaces for painting by washing them, filling holes, and sanding them until they’re smooth. + Cover trim, floors, furniture, and other surfaces with masking tape, drop cloths, and protective coverings to keep them free of paint. + Remove old finishes using scrapers or other appropriate methods. + Mix and match paint, stain, and other finishes to job specifications. + Apply paint, stain, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces using brushes, rollers, or sprayers. + Ensure clean lines and an even finish for a professional result. + Use appropriate safety gear at all times. + Review and implement work orders and assignments. + Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards. + Address any touch-ups or corrections as needed. **Job Type** This is a permanent position. **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Hanover, Pennsylvania. **Work Environment** Monday-Friday, Day shift/8 hour day, Working in residential or commercial buildings **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
