Shuttlewagon, a Wabtec Company is looking for a Production Painter. The Painter is responsible for painting highly engineered, custom built mobile material handling machinery for rail related markets. They operate in a spray booth as well as a blast bay.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESParts prep through the use of sandblaster, hand sanding tools, and other methodsApplication of industrial primer & paint using a pressure pot spray system or gravity fed spray gunApplication of two part corrosion resistant undercoatingClean, touchup, and final inspection of finished railcar mover before shipmentPrioritized work to ensure production areas and warehouse receive parts as neededUse a variety of hand and power tools following appropriate methods and proceduresMaintain a clean/organized work area through daily 5S and maintain equipment accordinglyComply with all stated Nordco safety requirements and company policiesOperation of overhead cranes, forklifts, and other lifting devicesSafe operation of finished mobile rail car moversTraining of new employees
