Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter and Powder Coater to join our team. This is a first shift or third shift position, working Monday through Friday. The role involves painting or powder coating surfaces of manufactured metal products using spray guns, with a preference for candidates having 3 years of experience.
ResponsibilitiesPaint or powder coat surfaces of manufactured metal products using spray guns.Set up industrial washer for cleaning parts.Load parts on conveyor.Mix coating liquids to desired color and pour powder into hopper.Set baking oven to specified temperature to properly bake the paint and powder.Perform quality checks on parts to ensure paint thickness using a mil thickness gauge.Lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long durations.Essential Skills3 years of experience in industrial painting and powder coating.Proficiency in using spray guns for painting and powder coating.Knowledge of mixing paints and ratios.Ability to perform inspections, clean up, and disposal of coating products.Capability to operate various tools and equipment related to painting.Additional Skills & Qualifications2+ years of painting experience.Ability to work with minimal supervision and perform specialized coating projects.Exhibit pride in workmanship and take responsibility for work.Willingness to collaborate with others to produce superior quality products.Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Canton, Ohio.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
