We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter to join our facilities maintenance team for the evening shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance of three commercial buildings in the bustling Boston Seaport area. Schedule: 3-11 pm

Key Responsibilities:

Execute painting projects in various areas of the buildings, including offices, common areas, and exteriors as neededPrepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primerMix, match, and apply paints, stains, and other finishes to achieve desired resultsUse brushes, rollers, and spray equipment as appropriate for different surfaces and projectsProtect surrounding areas by covering floors, furniture, and fixturesMaintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocolsCoordinate with other maintenance staff and building management to minimize disruption to tenantsManage time effectively to complete projects across all three buildings as scheduledKeep accurate records of time spent and materials used for each projectPerform touch-ups and minor repairs as needed

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience as a professional painterProficiency in various painting techniques and familiarity with different types of paints and finishesKnowledge of proper surface preparation and paint application methodsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipExcellent time management and organizational skillsFlexibility to work evenings and occasional weekends as neededValid driver's license and reliable transportation to move between buildingsPhysical ability to stand, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 poundsMust pass background check that includes drug screening and credit check

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in commercial or multi-building environmentsFamiliarity with green or low-VOC painting productsOSHA safety certification
