Position SummaryThis position is responsible for serving the customer’s needs and the requirements of their aircraft in accordance with Jet Aviation’s policies and procedures.
Main Responsibilities Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as required Apply paint by using different techniques and colors, ensuring a perfect coverage and a smooth finish Revitalize aircraft exteriors to perfection by expertly repairing paint damages and flawlessly matching colors for a like-new finish Prepare stencils, lettering blocks and apply letters, decals as well as insignias to the aircraft Mix and apply primers as well topcoats as required Perform a variety of general manual labor tasks (e.g., sweeping and cleaning floors and work areas, picking up papers and refuse from grounds, assisting in the handling of heavy materials, making minor repairs, mowing lawns, shoveling snow, cleaning, dusting, washing windows, moving and polishing furniture and equipment) Follow specific processes and procedures to maintain the buildings, facilities and grounds Main Responsibilities Cont. Ability to learn the different types of corporate aircraft and their individual cleaning requirements Provide assistance in cleaning the hangars, facilities, including the FBO and grounds keeping of all buildings Provide assistance in washing/detailing cars Provide a positive and professional first impression by exhibiting the proper demeanor, organization, and service level to arriving and departing guests Minimum Requirements Proven experience as a painter, with a good understanding of different techniques and materials preferably in the aviation, automotive or railway industry Possess a valid driver’s license Very good command in English and/or French beneficial Sound knowledge of paint preparation, paint mixing as well as application processes Skilled in paint repairs, color matching and polishing Familiar with paint related products and manufacturers Desired Characteristics Good physical condition Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their proper use Ability to learn the different types of corporate aircraft and their individual cleaning requirements Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail, committed to deliver high-quality work Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidaysIf you are interested in a multicultural, challenging and innovative working environment and your profile matches our requirements, we are looking forward to receiving your online application in English.
