Job Title: Production Painter Helper

Job Description

Our Client manufactures diamond blades and core bits primarily for the construction, stone, and mining industries. The products cut and grind a variety of surfaces, including brick, mortar, concrete, granite, engineered stone, tile, and glass.

4pm to 12:30am - $19/hr OT

ResponsibilitiesPaint parts and cover molds as specified.Read job orders to determine the required paint colors for blades.Mix paint using acetone and water, and determine the number of colors needed.Use a spray gun to paint the blades.Read, understand, and perform duties based on training, standard operating procedures, work instructions, and job orders.Inspect materials being produced or packed and perform required tests as defined in standard operating procedures.Communicate effectively and report any problems to the supervisor.Meet production goals in a timely manner, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.Perform inspections of materials being produced as defined in standard operating procedures.Essential SkillsAbility to adhere to strict PPE guidelines (gloves, safety glasses, steel-toed boots).1+ year of production experience or construction experience.Experience with painting, paint preparation, industrial painting, and using a spray gun is a huge plus.Additional Skills & QualificationsNo prior paint experience required but is a significant advantage.General labor and construction experience.Prepping and industrial experience.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment includes a paint booth. The position involves working the 2nd Shift from 4:00 pm to 12:30 am, with the potential for 1-2 hours of daily overtime and occasional Saturday shifts. Training on the 2nd Shift takes about 2 months.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
