**Painter** **Portland OR US** **Offering $32 per hour** **Job Description** We are seeking an experienced Painter to join our team. The role involves industrial painting for structural steel assemblies, mixing paints per specifications sheet, and preparing materials prior to painting. Knowledge of sandblasting or grinding/deburr is preferred. Responsibilities include painting parts out of place, on a ladder, and out of position. The candidate must be comfortable moving around parts in awkward positions to apply paint correctly. Additionally, the painter will be responsible for mixing their own paint per specifications list and instructions, and may be required to look at drawings, though expertise in this area is not necessary. The paints used are liquid-based. **Hard Skills** + Industrial painting for structural steel assemblies + Mixing paints per specifications sheet + Prep of material prior to painting + Knowledge of sandblasting or grinding/deburr **Job Type** + This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s). **Work Site** + This is a fully on-site position in Portland, Oregon. **Work Environment** + 100,000 square foot AISC-Certified Manufacturing Center in Portland, Oregon, and includes complete fabrication, sandblasting, and a painting facility. The state-of-the-art facility also features a computer drafting and modeling department on a 10-acre campus.
