Your Role at KIK

This position focuses on sorting and palletizing product from the main plant for many different KIK Consumer customers. Good work ethic and a production or manufacturing work history could lead to successful advancement, all while working in a friendly environment. This is a second shift role paying $20/hour and the hours are Monday -Thursday, 5pm-3am, with OT, as needed.

 What You’ll Be Doing

Sets up palletizing equipment according to the production schedule Monitors palletizing equipment to ensure quality control and recognizes any malfunctions with the equipment. Reports all malfunctions to maintenance and/or supervisor to resolve the problem Immediately reports any packaging errors to the Filling Department. Coordinates with the forklift operators to make sure appropriate pallets are being used for various products Responsible for loading the shrink wrap machines appropriately according to customers’ specifications   Lifts, moves, carries, and stacks cases of finished product as needed Operates any of the following equipment as needed; Palletizers and Shrink Wrap Machines Ensures product meets quality control standards.  Repackages damaged product to return it to market condition Assists in department inventory and performs basic record-keeping duties as needed

 What You’ll Bring

Requires High School diploma or GED Machine-operating or manufacturing experience preferred Commitment to safety and adherence to regulations Comfortable standing for long periods Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) Comfortable working in a high-speed manufacturing environment
