Pay range:  $19/hr. - $24/hr. based on experience

Hours of operation:  8:30am - 5pm

Responsible for all aspects of AR/billing on an EMR system to include electronic filing, denials, EOB, navigation of insurance websites, aging of accounts, and posting payments from insurance companies via electronic methods.Responsible for communicating with physicians and ARNP's on timely submission of patient documentation.Monitoring incoming mail and electronic submissions of physician's medical dictations.Communicates and Coordinates with physicians and ARNP's for Palliative Consults.Works with coding team to ensure all visits are documented appropriately.Works with physicians and ARNP's to ensue the proper documentation is being captured.He/she is responsible for communication with other departments within TrustBridge regarding any and all issues related to the Palliative program.He/she is responsible for participation in quality assurance activities .He/she is responsible for interfacing in the electronic medical record.He/she maintains communication with Quality/Compliance to ensure implementation of regulatory updates and changes, and manages all staff certifications and applications, and all local, state and federal reporting requirements. Qualifications

 

 

A.     Education/Regulatory Requirements:

Some college preferable.

B.     Skills:

Must have 3 years experience in healthcare administrative or customer service industry.Knowledge of hospice and home health programs is desirable.Organized, flexible, self-motivated with the ability to communicate with all levels of the medical team.Ability to develop HPBC and Palliative Care clinical knowledge base.Computer literate.Ability to develop and apply effective customer service skills.Ability to establish effective relationships with both internal and external customers.

Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
