Palliative Care Physician
*Description* Danbury Hospital, affiliated with Nuvance Health is seeking afull-time *Palliative Care Physician *located about 70 miles northeast of New York City. The palliative care team consists of expert physicians, advanced practice nurses, social workers, and chaplains, supports more than 2000 patients a year. The ideal candidate will be board certified in Internal Medicine and board certified or board eligible in Palliative Care. This is an employed position with a collegial and stable team. Danbury Hospital has 371 beds and is a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 70,000 ED visits per year. Services are provided in all settings, including the hospital, home, clinic, skilled nursing facilities, and assisted living facilities.
