Palliative Care Physician
Overview Dartmouth Health Cheshire Medical Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicatedPalliative Care Physicianto join our multidisciplinary team. This role offers an opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals with serious illnesses while also contributing to program development in palliative medicine. Key Responsibilities: * Provide comprehensive palliative care services, including symptom management, goals-of-care discussions, and psychosocial support for patients with serious or life-limiting illnesses in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. * Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses and social workers to deliver holistic care. * Engage in community outreach and collaboration with referring providers to enhance access to palliative care. Qualifications: * MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. * Board-certified or board-eligible in Hospice and Palliative Medicine by the ABMS or AOA. * Eligible for medical licensure in New Hampshire. * Strong communication skills and ability to navigate complex patient and family discussions. * Commitment to interdisciplinary teamwork, education, and patient advocacy.
