Overview
We are looking for a Palliative Revenue Cycle Authorization Specialist to join our team. This position will directly report to the Regional Director of Palliative Operations and is responsible for supporting the division's day-to-day processes and operations.
Oversees the Revenue Cycle and Authorization process managed by the third-party Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) vendor.Performs periodic reviews of medical records and documentation related to Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care claims.Maintains and distributes tracking logs and spreadsheets related to claims processing and prior authorizations. About You Bachelor’s degree finance, healthcare administration, business, or related degree Minimum two years of Medicare Part B billing experience required. Expertise in revenue cycle as it related to medical billing including eligibility, prior authorizations, billing, cash posting and collections.Computer proficiency to include Microsoft Office suite and Electronic Medical Records systems (E-Clinical Works preferred).Knowledge of palliative careProficient to advanced Microsoft Excel We OfferCompensation may vary within the salary range provided based on several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s location, experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications and department equity.
