Palmer ICF Manager - Evenings Overview Requisition Number: 7817 Date Posted: 2/17/2025 Location: Palmer Address: 1113 Flatbush Road City: Kingston Category: Direct Support Management Description We have a new full-time management opportunity at The Arc Mid-Hudson at our Palmer Center ICF, supporting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Our Palmer Center campus, which includes three homes, is located in Kingston and is close to the Rhinecliff Bridge. Responsibilities for this seasoned manager include but are not limited to: + Supervising staff and assuring that plans of care are followed for the individuals we support. + Developing and maintaining an effective working relationship with the Residential Coordinator (RC) to assure the continuous and effective operation of program. + Remaining up-to-date with NYS Department of Health and NYS Office for Persons With Developmental Disabilities ICF regulations (e.g. documentation, active treatment, community integration, etc.) + May need to provide hands-on assistance with personal hygiene needs and living space maintenance, as needed. This includes providing assistance with toileting, showering, dressing, etc., and completing basic household cleaning tasks, cooking, laundry, etc. as needed. + Maintaining established Agency, OPWDD, and federal regulations, policies, and procedures and ensure staff compliance As one of our managers, you are going to be an incredible encouragement to both the people who live at Palmer Center and the staff. The Arc Mid-Hudson offers an extensive and informative new hire orientation in a comfortable learning environment. We also provide additional development opportunities for our management staff. HOURS: 40/Thursday through Monday - 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm STARTING SALARY: $ 66,405.80 per year Minimum Requirements + High School Diploma (Associate’s Degree preferred); + Experience working in a residential setting serving individuals with developmental disabilities preferred; + One (1) year supervisory experience and the ability to manage others preferred; + Excellent communications, organizational and writing skills, and the ability to work effectively with others; + Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and remote meeting platforms required; + Must be able to become CPR/First Aid, Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention (SCIP), Approved Medication Administration Personnel (AMAP), & driving certified. + Must have acceptable NYS driver’s license that meets acceptable standards of the agency’s automobile insurance company. + Must not have and must maintain no substantiated allegations by the agency or NYS Justice Center.
