THE JOB:

At La La Noodle, we serve up bold Pan-Asian flavors in a dynamic and inviting setting. As a Cook, you’ll play a key role in bringing our vibrant menu to life, expertly preparing dishes that highlight authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. Your passion for cooking and attention to detail will help create a guest experience to remember; where every dish is crafted with care and every visit is filled with bold flavors and unforgettable moments.


THE STARTING RATE: $25.7018

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Demonstrate expertise in food products and culinary techniques by effectively preparing delicious Pan-Asian dishes

Safely operate and utilize kitchen equipment, ensuring their proper maintenance and functionality

Monitor and replenish kitchen supplies and food items required for ongoing service to ensure seamless operations

Implement proper labeling and dating procedures for products to uphold sanitation standards and ensure food safety

Exhibit proficiency in menu knowledge and meticulous attention to detail in plate presentation for an enhanced dining experience

Collaborate with kitchen leadership and fellow staff members to ensure smooth execution of service and timely delivery of dishes

Display adeptness in preparing base sauces, stocks, and soups, contributing to the authenticity and flavor

Foster teamwork by assisting guests with their needs and inquiries, including the assembly and preparation of hot food items, showcasing exceptional knife skills

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

At least one year of experience as a line cook in a high-volume kitchen environment

Background in Pan-Asian cuisine with an understanding of traditional flavors and techniques

Experience with wok, sushi, or meat stations is a plus

Bilingual in a Chinese dialect, Mandarin, or Cantonese is a plus

Takes pride in their work, provides a safe environment, and maintains health standards

Describes themselves as detail-oriented

Looks forward to working with a team to provide positive experiences

Enjoys helping others and likes to make a good impression

Can handle multiple tasks at one time

Prior experience in similar resort setting

Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
