Kforce has a client that is seeking a Paralegal in Newark, DE. Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Paralegal to join our legal team, focusing on alternative investments. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and managing legal documents related to investment funds, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and supporting the legal department in various aspects of fund administration. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in financial services or investment fund law. Key Responsibilities: * Review, analyze, and organize legal documents related to alternative investments, including fund formation documents, investment agreements, and compliance materials * Ensure that all documents are accurate, complete, and comply with legal and regulatory requirements * Assist in monitoring compliance with securities laws, regulations, and internal policies related to fund operations * Prepare and review regulatory filings and reports as required * Support the preparation of fund offering materials, including private placement memoranda (PPMs), subscription agreements, and partnership agreements * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of fund-related documentation and correspondence * Conduct legal research on issues related to alternative investments, including changes in regulations and industry practices * Prepare summaries and reports on legal issues affecting the fund * Liaise with external legal advisors, regulators, and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth communication and document exchange * Address inquiries and provide support to fund managers and other internal clients * Assist with the organization and management of case files and documentation * Coordinate and schedule meetings, conference calls, and other administrative tasks as needed
