Description We are in search of a Paralegal to join our team. This role involves working in the industry of Litigation in Hopkins, Minnesota, United States. The position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. As a Paralegal, you will be expected to handle various responsibilities related to litigation and legal procedures. Responsibilities: • Conduct legal research to support litigation proceedings • Prepare legal documents and reports for court cases • Collaborate with the legal team to strategize on case proceedings • Communicate with clients to gather and verify necessary information • Maintain accurate records and files related to case history • Manage and organize large volumes of complex legal documents • Facilitate communication and coordination with relevant legal parties • Assist in the preparation of legal arguments and motions • Provide administrative support to the legal team when necessary • Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in law, paralegal studies, or a related field. • Minimum of 3-5 years of paralegal experience with a focus on civil litigation, ideally with cases involving insurance claims. • Experience with estate planning or family law preferred. • Proficient in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite. • Strong comprehension of legal concepts, terminologies, and principles. • Familiarity with conducting legal research and drafting legal documents. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong organizational and time management skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. • Knowledge and experience in litigation. • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. • Ability to handle and prioritize demanding caseload. • Demonstrated commitment to professional ethical standards. • Current certification from an American Bar Association-approved paralegal program is preferred.
